Art is art. Someone once said that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder," and it is, for the most part. What one person considers to be art, someone else may consider to be profanity. That is what is great about art. It is provocative. Whether or not you like it or agree that it is, you are still talking about it. It is provoking thought and discussion. Too many people get caught up in being right or thinking they are the one true authority on all things. They don't realize that they are just as full of crap as the rest of us. Maybe they should... Criticism is a healthy thing. It is a sharing of views and collaboration of ideas. When you take it too far though it ceases to be critisim and becomes condemnation. Condemnation has no place in art or free thinking. If someone feels a certain way that is great. But don't try to force your agenda on other people, and don't try to condem them for being different than you.
